Business After Business
Meet other business people at these casual after-hours networking cocktail receptions hosted at selected member businesses. Typical attendance runs from 30 to 100 business people. Free admission for members, cost is $25 for non-members.
Shakers And Stirrers
Shakers and stirrers is a sophisticated social business networking event, featuring Albuquerque’s most successful small business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs. Our stylish monthly event gives attendees a place to unwind while socializing, networking and sharing business ideas with other members. This event allows professionals to extend their network in an exclusive, entertaining and engaging environment. They will take the opportunity to mingle with industry leaders and peers get involved and get inspired. Who said you can’t mix business with pleasure? Free admission for members, cost is $25 for non-members.
Annual Meeting
Network with the “who’s who” of the business community as we introduce the Chamber’s newly elected board of directors and chairman and reveal our focus areas for the upcoming year. The event features a high profile keynote speaker and is typically our biggest event of the year.
Congressional Luncheon Series
Network with 250 to 400 business people and keep up to date on federal issues that affect your company. The Chamber hosts each member of New Mexico’s Congressional delegation in four separate luncheons featuring Senator Bingaman, Senator Udall, Congressman Heinrich, Congressman Pearce and Congressman Lujan.
Governor's Address
The Governor of New Mexico is invited every year to deliver her address to the business community.
Distinguished Speaker Series
These events feature timely and often provocative presentations from renowned local and national level speakers. This year, we feature presentations from UNM Health Sciences Center who will discuss their breakthrough research and delivery programs. Past speakers include the President of Shell Oil, President of UNM, the President of the NCAA, President of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and others.
Spirit Of New Mexico Awards Luncheon
There are people in our community that deserve recognition for serving others and expecting nothing in return. They embody the very “Spirit of New Mexico.” Join the Chamber and the Albuquerque Journal for this annual event where we will be highlighting the five individuals who will be introduced by the reporters who did feature stories about them.
Small Business Seminars
These bi-monthly events allow small business owners to network with their peers while learning valuable information that will help their business. The events include free workshops on the unique issues faced by small businesses. Past topics have included the impact of recent healthcare reform, how to sell in a down economy, the most effective ways to use social media, and may more.
Small Business Roundtable
The Small Business Roundtable meeting is an opportunity for small business owners, entrepreneurs and home-based businesses to share ideas and support each other in today’s uncertain economic times. The Small Business Roundtable was created to provide Albuquerque small business professionals with an opportunity to exchange on a monthly basis with one goal in mind: learning from each other. Attendees will have an opportunity to increase business by meeting like-minded individuals from various industries who can share ideas and resources.

Schmooze-a-palooza: The 60-Minute Networking Event
An hour of networking held prior to various Chamber events. There are 12 booths available free of charge to members on a first come, first served basis, and participants who visit them are entering to win fantastic door prize drawings.

We can assist our members with setting up introductions to the people they want to reach. From personal introductions to suggestions on who to call about a variety of topics and services, the Chamber can help make the connections.
Verbal Referrals
We get more than 2,000 calls each month from the public requesting information on different types of businesses or services, and we will always refer our members. We record the verbal referrals we give in our Referral Registry and will notify you with postcards and/or email every time we give you one.
Electronic Referrals
Every member is automatically listed in our online membership directory. Last year, we gave out over 280,000 electronic referrals from this directory. Our website currently receives over 100,000 hits per week.

Conduct targeted business to business mailing campaigns using our Member Mailing Lists. With our extensive database of businesses and organizations, a customized mailing lets you put your information directly into the hands of the businesses you want to reach.
Marketing On The “Times Square On The ‘Q’”
Our high-tech message repeater board is located on the side of our offices in Downtown Albuquerque at the corner of 2nd Street and Gold Ave. SW in Downtown Albuquerque, providing our members with the opportunity for 24-hour advertising. The high-traffic location provides the best opportunity for exposure to a fast-paced Downtown audience.
Monday Morning Memo Advertising
Reach 3,500 business people each week by advertising in the Monday Morning Memo e-newsletter– 175,000 impressions per year.
Relocation Packages
More than 200 relocation packages are mailed to people moving to Albuquerque. Members can target this audience by participating in the program which will include their marketing materials in the package. Program participants also receive a list of definite movers.

Radio Airtime
New members who seek to advertise to the general public can receive vouchers for free radio advertising through a special partnership with Cumulus Broadcasting. Get $2000 worth of advertising for only $1000!! The voucher includes copywriting and production of a commercial.
Television Airtime
New members who seek to advertise to the general public can receive vouchers for free airtime through a special partnership with KOB-TV and Good Day New Mexico. The voucher is good for $1,500 of airtime on the program promoting your business. Afterwards, you will be able to get the 3 minute video linked to your website.
Website Advertising
Reach businesspeople, visitors and re-locators by advertising on www.abqchamber.com. The website receives roughly 38,000 visitors per month you can make your company front and center with a strategically placed advertisement.

Each year the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce releases our Plan of Action magazine that highlights our Mission and agendas for the new fiscal year and also lists our esteemed Board Members. We issue certificates of origin, a document required by certain foreign countries for tariff purposes, certifying the country of origin of specified goods. Service is free to members.
International Discovery Missions
